The month of May has been a big transition in the Global Community. I have personally experienced many emotions that have brought me back to some of my childhood memories and have given me an new appreciation of what I experienced as a child.

As many of you know I grew up in a funeral home and experienced many people dying. As life happened I had my airline tickets purchased to go to Austin many months in advance for the first two weekends in May. As it so happened I was present the hour that Bill Riedler, made his transition of leaving his body.

I am most grateful that I was with Beth, his wife, Tyler, his son, and Pam Dunn, our new president of Global and David Traub, neighbor and friend. It was so beautiful to be able to hold hands, sing, and feel the peace, joy and completion Bill felt at the end of his life.

The last person Bill heard from was the "Bill Riedler" of Russia who called to invite him to attend the Convention in Russia next summer to celebrate their 15th Anniverary. I can only imagine how complete Bill had to feel knowing that he had influenced Russia toward being a peaceful nation. Bill had in place the IC squares who are teaching the new people to become instructors, and Pam Dunn and Beth Riedler are prepared from the many years of training to take over running Global. Pam Dunn is the President and Beth Riedler is the owner.

The very next weekend Sparkle and I were scheduled to attend more training so again we had our tickets in place to be present for the Celebration of Life service for Bill on May 11th. Over 180 people came to Austin mid week to celebrate Bill's life. At our own memorial service May 10th at the Center, David Hunt came to speak. He had known Bill since he was 25 years of age. Relationships and friends are what Bill created in his life. It was a beautiful celebration.

Upon first glance it may appear that Bill did not reach his goal of teaching 3,333,333 people profound learning experiences. However, when you consider all of those who he taught who became inspired by his work and went out and created their own dreams it is highly likely that the amount of people touched by Global courses both directly and indirectly may well have reached 3,333,333 people and beyond!

The third weekend was our Understanding Yourself and Others course. As I have mentioned in the past we always seem to have a theme. Isn't it interesting that the theme that surfaced for our class was focused on people who were dealing with issues around death. A mother who had lost her daughter from an aneurysm suddenly after giving birth to her third child, a man who is dealing with an illness and is ready to die and a woman who was literally on her way to commit suicide and "by chance" opened an e- mail inviting her to be a guest and take the course. She came to the course only one hour before the class began. Our class composition were heavier issues than most classes are, but with the love and support that everyone felt, the students and assistants felt an entire community supporting them. I personally revisited the anger I felt as a child seeing so many people die or leaving. It was very safe and freeing to express that deep emotion.

On a happier note I find that the benefit of this work is reconnecting with your power and passion. I have a burning desire to make more people aware of how healing it is to get into the emotional issues so you can release your passion and live your life at 100%. The mother has healed some of her sadness and is turning her life situation into a "want to" help others learn of the warning signs of an aneurysm so other people do not have to experience the loss of a loved one prematurely. She has a purpose for her life.
